Mini-session campaign checklist for photographers
Plan a mini-session campaign with limited slots, clear package rules, deposits, preparation emails and a clean client delivery path.
Mini-sessions need constraint
A mini-session campaign works when the offer is simple and limited. Clients should understand the date, location, session length, included images, upgrade path and payment requirement without messaging you first.
Avoid offering too many choices. The goal is a fast yes, not a custom consultation.
Use one repeatable booking flow
Create a booking template specifically for the campaign. Keep the package, availability window, deposit and confirmation message consistent across every slot.
This keeps the client experience consistent and makes the campaign easier to repeat next season.
- One campaign page.
- Limited time slots.
- Deposit required to reserve the slot.
- Automated confirmation and prep email.
Prepare clients before the campaign day
Mini-session days fail when clients arrive confused. Send a short guide with parking, timing, outfit notes, arrival rules and what happens if they are late.
A simple questionnaire can also collect names, children’s ages and any important notes before the day.
Protect delivery time
After the campaign, clients should know when the gallery arrives, how many images are included and how upgrades work. The smoother this step is, the easier it is to sell additional images.
